I have almost nothing at all good to say about talktalk during this time.

bt broadband usage monitor not updating-67

The comment was thank you for calling Talk Talk goodbye. RUBBISH Slow service that somethimes stucks completely; I disconnected the service and I am still receiving bills 4 months after; plus the stealth autorenewal that roced us to stay with them for an extra couple of years; then there is the leak of customers data (3 in a year) obtained by the hackers; in overall a nightmare company, that simply does not want to leave, just like a disease. The recent well publicised hack is only the tip of the iceberg! Telecomms companies seem unable to provide a proper service or to communicate.

THE most disgraceful company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I've been a customer for over three years and I am now counting down the days until I can leave at the end of my contract, although I don't hold out much hope of that going smoothly. If I could give it 0 I would, complete and utter waste of time and money! Thye are a bunch of liars - that is the customer service, their supervisors, their technical department, their online rules and regulations. Internet cuts off even though its meant to be unlimited and even though they said to other rival ISPs that those ISPs should provide unlimited Broadband...?

We have been with them around 2 months and have not had broadband for 40 days, we'v had 3 engineers to the house, countless line checks, and in the end when I lost my temper they suddenly realised what the fault was, the simplest of things at their end. I would avoid going with them at all costs, the customer service I received was appalling, nobody listened to a word I said, I rang nearly every day for about a month (when I was completely fed up), when I finally got it sorted I was on the phone over an hour and a half being passed from pillar to post, with people who clearly didnt know what they were doing. They are liars with one thing in mind - dominate the market. Broadband is so unreliable and sometimes if the house phone is rang it will cut everything else off.

Sometimes the best way to get a feel for a broadband provider is to read what those who are already customers think of the service they're receiving. After numerous calls where the assistants clearly read catchphrases from a sheet with no meaning/feeling behind what they are saying and 'tested my line' which takes us to about 25 minutes into the call they have still failed to fix my broadband!!

Below are all the reviews we've received for Talk Talk. I have spent over 30 minutes on each call and called 5 times!

I have had an engineer out, a new router and still the same 30 minute phone call 'testing the line' and hearing the same script! My partner and I have been with Talk Talk for almost all of the 24 month contract now and have had to take them with us over 3 property moves in that time.North West Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell & Central Milton Keynes. The only remotely nice thing I can say is that the customer service try as best they can with their phone line resets to try and get things sorted but beyond that they can't do anything. At the end of the contract (just a couple of months left now) we will be leaving talktalk NEVER to return to this abysmal "internet service provided occasionally" company. Awful made phone line bad and my partner lap top didn't work. They tried to get me to unscrew wall plates I refused. When you complain, they never ring back, they always expect customer to chase them and go through the 'press button 1' routine over and over and always take a long time to put you through. They don't speak good English so they don't understand you and you don't understand them. I asked why I can't get a call from them and was told they have too many customers with complaints to call back!I have asked for compensation being without broadband. Don't know why they don't do better, people have been complaining for donkeys years about this, yet still can't improve and don't seem to care about bad publicity. Get something decent if you can, though I think there's not much to choose from.
